Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add a product?
From Stock or a storage location, use the + button, scan the barcode or add the product manually.
Why does a product have no photo?
The photo depends on scan results or on a photo you add manually. In a shared household, sync with iCloud to send it to other devices.
How do I sync two iPhones?
Enable the shared household, invite the other member, then use Sync Now after important changes. On launch, the app retrieves available changes.
A deleted product comes back after sync.
Update both devices to the same app version, relaunch Stockly Reserve, then run a manual sync on the device where the change was made.
The scanner does not find my product.
Stockly Reserve checks local data first, then Open Food Facts. If the product is not available yet, you can complete the product sheet manually.
Purchases and Pro
How do I restore purchases?
Open the app settings, go to In-App Purchases, then use Restore Purchases.
Who handles payment?
Subscriptions and lifetime purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store. Stockly Reserve does not receive your bank card details.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Cancellation is handled in your Apple account settings, under Subscriptions.
Which terms apply?
Apple's standard terms apply to in-app purchases: Apple Standard EULA.
Backup and Changing iPhone
Without a shared household, use JSON export before changing iPhone or deleting the app. With a shared household, sync important changes before closing the app.
- JSON export: useful as a local backup.
- JSON import: restores the data contained in the file.
- iCloud: syncs shared household data between accepted members.
Privacy
Stockly Reserve does not require a Stockly Reserve account. Some features may use Apple iCloud, Open Food Facts or the App Store depending on the actions you choose.
